The Feeling Good Garden: How to Reset Your Inner Chemistry Without Getting Your Ducks In A Raw
Are you vibrating in conflict with what you actually want? Is your life nowhere near Instagram-perfect? What if you could reset your inner chemistry without getting your ducks in a raw? Dr Marina Nani opens the gates into The Feeling Good Garden

We all know those days when your energy feels off. You might not even be able to explain it—but something feels disconnected, cloudy and it scattered all over the place. Often, you brush it off. You push through, hustle harder, numb, scroll, you try to fix the “outer” world instead. Get your ducks in a raw once again.
But what if feeling better had less to do with your circumstances, and more to do with your inner chemistry, your frequency and your moment-to-moment awareness? What if feeling good isn’t a luxury at all—but a physiological, emotional and energetic necessity that shapes everything you do?
Why “Getting Your Ducks in a Row” Is No Longer Enough
For most of my adult life, I lived by the idea that if I could just get everything in order—if I could line up the ducks, tick the boxes, juggle it all without dropping anything—then I’d finally feel good. I’d feel safe. Settled. Worthy. And for a while, it worked. Kind of. Until it didn’t.

Life has a way of scattering the “ducks” when they are in a raw. Just when you think you’ve lined everything up from career, family, health to finances, something shifts. Someone gets sick. The job changes. Your body speaks up. Your heart wants something different.
Or the world simply throws another truck of lemons in your garden.
And you’re left thinking: I did everything right. Why doesn’t feel good anymore?
What Would Feel Good Right Now?
Let me start by saying this: you don’t need a tropical vacation, a new wardrobe, or a perfect partner to start feeling good again. You don’t even need all your “ducks in a row”. I learned this the hard way—when life was nowhere near Instagram-perfect and I was waiting for something (anything!) to change before I gave myself permission to feel happy.
One afternoon, I was standing in my kitchen—exhausted, emotionally drained and overwhelmed. I had been working so hard to get my life “in order,” but happiness always felt just out of reach. That day, I caught my reflection in the window and saw a woman tired of constantly working harder and harder, just to always give more than receiving. What can you carry on giving from an empty cup? And something in me just… let go.
We spend so much time thinking, “When I get that job, lose that weight, find that partner, or fix that situation, then I’ll feel better.” My intention was to get my ducks in a raw- and fast! and I used to say this to myself like a quiet mantra in my head, believing that my circumstances were the gatekeepers to my inner peace, joy and sense of worth.
But here’s the truth that shifted everything for me: feeling good is not a reward for getting life right. It’s not reserved for the few moments when the stars align.
Feeling good is a frequency you can tune in and out— is a choice you are making right now, as you are, with the mess still on the kitchen counter and your inbox overflowing. Instead of fixing anything, I asked myself a simple question:
What would feel good right now, without changing a single thing?
The answer was so ordinary, it surprised me. A warm cup of tea. Bach. Taking off my shoes. Walking in barefoot in the grass. Sitting in the sun. Doing nothing until I was able to move again. And that was the beginning.
Your Feel-Good Frequency
What I’ve come to realize and what I want to offer to every single woman reading this—is that getting your ducks in a row is a surface-level strategy for what is, at its core, an emotional and energetic need for alignment. You don’t chase order for the sake of neatness. You chase it because you believe it will make others around you feel better. Safer. Happier. But order without alignment is hollow. And there is a larger inner conversation you need to start about social conditioning, your role in the world as a woman.
You can have the picture-perfect home, the colour-coded calendar, the most impressive résumé and still feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck in a low-grade ache you can’t quite name. The real work, the sustainable shift doesn’t happen outside. It happens in Your frequency. Your vibration. Your energy.
Are you vibrating in conflict with what you actually want?
Tuning into your feeling-good frequency isn’t about pretending everything’s fine or ignoring specific challenges in front of you. It’s about choosing—moment to moment—to shift your attention toward what softens you, what lights you up and what makes you breathe easier. Think of it as emotional nourishment. You wouldn’t wait until your life is perfect to eat, right? You nourish your body every day. You deserve the same for your spirit. You can decide to step away from circumstances that are not aligned with your purpose and enter the feeling good garden of your soul.
You can tap into the feel-good frequency, even in adverse circumstances when life feels heavy and unfair:
- Curate Your Choices: Be mindful of what you consume. If you scroll mindlessly and feel worse after, connect with people who uplift you, read books that open your mind and turn off the noise when you need silence.
- Find Your Feeling Good Anchors: What brings you back to yourself? For me, it’s music, writing, movement and natural beauty. I walk, listen to random birds sounds and I write. That’s my reset button.
Step Into the Feeling Good Garden
Here’s what I want you to remember: you don’t need permission to feel good. You don’t need your life to be different, your past to be fixed, or your future to be figured out. You just need to pause. Breathe. And lean into what soothes you, brings you joy and connects you with your better self.
Some of your best days could happened in the middle of chaos, not because anything changed, but because you change the way you showed up for yourself. When you stop waiting and start allowing yourself to make better vibrational choices every day.
And maybe that’s where your joy begins, not in a different life, but in a different way of being in this one. So, go ahead. Play your song. Let the sun touch your face. Let yourself feel good today, as you are. That’s where the magic lives.
When you’re feeling bad about something, it’s not just a mood, it’s a frequency.
You are vibrating in conflict with what you actually want. Your attention is wrapped around what’s missing, what’s broken, what’s wrong. You’re sending out a signal that says: “I don’t have it.”
But here’s the truth:
You don’t have to first fix the challenge to change your frequency. It is the other way round. You can chose to feel good without getting your ducks in a raw. You just have to shift your focus away from the negative specifics and into what you want.
Ignoring negative circumstances that are not in alignment with what you want is not denial. Is neuroscience working to your unfair advantage. More about that at the Rich Afternoon Tea. Same time. Until then, step into the Feeling- Good- Garden and leave the gate wide open, so more could enter this magical place of yours…
