Have you ever asked yourself “What would my life feel like if I lived with a little more happiness and ease?”. It is really easy to get caught up in the busyness of day-to-day life, believing that happiness is something you’ll reach once you finish your to-do list, solve that one problem, or achieve a certain goal. But what if happiness and ease were available to you right now, no matter what’s going on around you?

What would your life feel like if you lived with a little more happiness and ease? Dr Marina Nani looks into tuning into a frequency of happiness and ease, a choice you can make to feel happy and good every day.

Imagine tuning into a frequency where you feel happy and everything is easy. It’s not about ignoring life’s challenges but about approaching them with a calm, grounded sense of well-being. Tuning into the frequency of happiness and ease it’s a shift in mindset, a decision to experience more peace and joy, not just as an end goal, but as a way of life.

If you want to join me in exploring different options to access this frequency, consider how life might look and feel when you let happiness and ease lead the way. Could this be the change you’ve been looking for?

Tuning into the frequency of happiness and ease has been one of the interesting shifts I’ve made. It happened after my surgery when I realised that being alive made me happy. Rather than viewing happiness as something to chase or achieve once certain goals were met, I started to see it as a frequency, a state of being I could access here and now. This frequency, rooted in joy and a sense of calm, isn’t just a pleasant mindset—it’s a powerful foundation that affects every part of our lives.

When you tune into this frequency, you’re no longer waiting for something external to make you feel happy. Instead, you carry that sense of ease with you, allowing it to guide and inspire your actions, relationships and even your ambitions. Tuning into happiness and ease doesn’t mean that challenges disappear or that life becomes effortless, but it does mean that you’re approaching everything from a place of grounded well-being, resilience and clarity.

Are Happiness and Ease Essential?

For years, I believed that success required a certain level of tension and struggle, that pushing hard would lead to reward. I realised that happiness and success aren’t about the end result—they’re about how you feel along the way.

Studies have shown that positive emotions like joy and ease can actually make us more creative, resilient and solution-oriented. When we’re in a state of happiness, our minds expand; we see possibilities and solutions we might miss when we’re stressed or in survival mode. It’s not about ignoring challenges but about approaching them with a mind that’s open, energised and prepared.

Tuning into the Frequency of Happiness and Ease

Tuning into happiness and ease isn’t a one-time decision; it’s a daily practice, a habit like drinking water, jumping into the shower or tuning into a favourite song- it requires intention and sometimes even a little adjustment. Here are some ways I’ve found to access this frequency and keep it as a start in my everyday life.

One of the quickest ways to tune into happiness is to cultivate gratitude. When we’re grateful, we’re reminding ourselves of the beauty, abundance and blessings already present in our lives. Even on challenging days, I find that acknowledging small moments—a warm cup of coffee, a beautiful sunset, a kind word from a friend—can shift my mood and bring a sense of ease.

Gratitude helps us appreciate where we are, creating a foundation of confidence that makes it easier to build on joy and happiness in every moment.

So often, happiness eludes us because we’re always focused on what’s next or on what we haven’t yet achieved- and perhaps you could have a very long list. I found that by slowing down, I was able to appreciate life as it unfolded. Instead of rushing through my day, I started taking time to pause, breathe, and actually savour the moment.

Whether it’s enjoying a meal without distractions, going for a mindful walk, taking a bath or even just taking a few deep breaths, these small acts of presence bring a profound sense of peace. Slowing down creates space for ease, reminding us that happiness doesn’t have to be pursued—it can be enjoyed right now.

What Brings You Joy?

For most of us, tuning into the frequency of happiness is about surrounding yourself with ideas, destinations, things, people and activities that uplift you. When I began asking myself better questions, I noticed a shift.

Asking myself ‘What brings me joy?” —whether it was by spending time with loved ones, reading, writing or simply getting on my walking shoes and going for a walk with my dog— enabled me to choose joy intentionally.

The more I made room for things that genuinely brought me joy, the more natural it felt to live in a state of ease. Happiness isn’t just a feeling; it’s a series of choices we make each day. When filling your day with what truly matters to you, you naturally align with a higher frequency with ease.

A significant part of tuning into ease is letting go of the need to control every outcome. I used to believe that happiness required certainty, that if I planned everything perfectly, I’d feel good and happy. But I learned that true ease comes from surrendering to the natural flow of life. Instead of resisting change or fearing uncertainty, I started to be excited when stepping into the unknown.

This mindset shift released a huge weight from my shoulders. Rather than forcing outcomes and forging ahead to please others, I focused on staying open, adaptable and positive. Embracing flow brought a sense of peace, helping me respond to life rather than constantly trying to control it with deadlines and goal settings.

Happiness and ease require a foundation of self-care—actions that nurture your body, mind and soul. I made it a habit to check in with myself daily, asking “What do I need to feel my best today?” Some days it’s rest, other days it’s exercise and sometimes it’s as simple as a few minutes of listening to music, laughing or dancing. Self-care routines create a buffer against high levels of stress and make it easier to stay in a frequency of calm and humble joy, even when life throws challenges our way.

Living in the Frequency of Happiness and Ease

Tuning into the frequency of happiness and ease has changed the way I approach every part of my life. When I’m aligned with this frequency, I find that my dreams, relationships and everyday experiences unfold with a sense of grace. Challenges still arise, but I meet them with resilience and a sense of curiosity.

Living in this frequency is like walking through life without carrying the weight of unnecessary burdens. I’m no longer weighed down by stress or self-doubt. I’m more confident that my actions feel more aligned and each day feels purposeful. Every day becomes a gift of life as I’m not chasing happiness somewhere down the road—I’m living it, right here and now.

Happiness and ease aren’t elusive—they’re accessible to us in every moment, if we’re willing to slow down, tune in and prioritise what truly matters. When you live from a place of gratitude, life feels less like a series of struggles and more like a beautiful flow, one that brings you closer to your truest self with every step.
