7 Colors to Wear for Prestige and Wealth

Have you ever noticed how certain colors empower you instantly? Dr Marina Nani invites you to explore what colors to wear for prestige and wealth, learning from some of the most successful brands in the world.

Luxury, success and influence are not accidental. The world’s most powerful brands strategically use color to create an image of abundance, prestige and limitless wealth. These companies have mastered the psychology of color to attract wealth, build trust and position themselves as symbols of power and exclusivity.

From Rolls-Royce to Virgin, Tesla to Louis Vuitton, the use of color in branding is intentional—designed to evoke confidence, status and abundant living. Let’s explore what colors to wear for prestige and wealth, learning from some of the most successful brands in the world.

Have you ever noticed how certain colors empower you instantly? Make you focus, feel more centered? More ready to receive all that life has to offer? I’ve discovered what I call the Abundance Roulette – a spectrum of colours that consistently align us with different forms of abundance:

Gold – The Ultimate Symbol of Prestige and Wealth

Gold signifies luxury, high value, and success beyond limits. Few brands symbolize wealth, exclusivity, and prestige like Rolls-Royce. Their use of gold, black, and deep metallic tones positions them as a brand for the ultra-elite. The Rolls-Royce gold and black emblem reinforces the idea that owning one is not just about transportation—it’s about status, legacy and limitless success.

Versace is drenched in gold, from its opulent designs to its iconic logo. Gold represents courage, success and high-end living, making Versace a statement of power, a go-to brand for those who want to exude wealth and confidence.

But here’s what took me years to understand: this isn’t about following a rigid color formula. It’s about becoming conscious of the energy you choose to embody each day. It’s about understanding that abundance isn’t something that happens to you – it’s something you actively create through every choice, including the colors you surround yourself with.

Every time I incorporate gold into my outfit – whether through jewelry or fabric – I notice a shift in how others respond to me. Doors open. Conversations flow. Opportunities arrive. It’s as if the colour itself attracts abundance. In Paris, a vintage gold scarf seemed to open doors to opportunities I hadn’t even dreamed of.

Green- the Color of Adventure and Prestige

Have you ever noticed how certain colors empower you instantly? Dr Marina Nani invites you to explore what colors to wear for prestige and wealth, learning from some of the most successful brands in the world.

Land Rover uses deep green to represent prestige and exclusivity, with its association with royalty and high-end travelers. Connection to nature, reinforcing the freedom and adventure that comes with driving a Land Rover.

Long-term value, as Land Rovers are known for their durability and timeless appeal. Land Rover feel wealthy, established and built for those who want to explore the world on their own terms.

Green makes Starbucks feel friendly yet premium, abundant yet calming, attracting millions of loyal customers in 80 countries. People are willing to pay a premium for the prestige that comes with this coffee experience.

I never imagined that my greatest lesson about abundance would start with a single dress. I was getting ready for by book launch in Singapore. That morning I was pacing the room, anxiety crawling through my chest and I could not think clearly. “This meeting could change everything. What to wear? ” My hand instinctively reached for my trusted black dress, my shield in moments like these. But something stopped me.

Still at the bottom of my suitcase was an emerald green dress I’d bought in a tiny boutique in Hawaii two weeks earlier. The shopkeeper had said something that stuck with me: “This is the color of prosperity, of new beginnings.” I’d smiled politely then, thinking it was another sales pitch, quite un-necessary as I loved that dress, but now I was thinking: What if she was right?

When I slipped on that dress, even though it was two sizes bigger, the shift was immediate. My shoulders relaxed. My breathing deepened. I felt connected to something larger than myself – the same feeling I’d experienced walking barefoot in Honolulu’s sand. This was my a-ha moment, I finally understood: what we wear isn’t just a dress or a piece of fabric. It’s energy.

When I wear my emerald green dress, I instantly reconnect with that confident woman in Singapore. It grounds me in my worth and helps me communicate my values without hesitation. When was the last time you felt absolutely certain of your worth?

Royal Blue- the Color of Leadership

Blue is the color of leadership, trust and emotional intelligence. It represents clarity, deep understanding and a calm confidence in your own power. Those who live abundant lives aren’t just financially wealthy—they carry a sense of knowing that they are in control of their destiny.

Wear navy or royal blue when making important decisions—it sharpens intuition and clarity. Use blue in your workspace to enhance focus, intelligence and wisdom in financial matters. Blue teaches us that true abundance isn’t just about having—it’s about knowing who you are and where you’re going.

Reflecting on my book launch in Tokyo, I noticed how wearing royal blue helped me navigate complex business negotiations with a calm confidence I’d never known before. Royal Blue has become my color for self- leadership and deep trust. During a particularly challenging negotiation in London, wearing a royal blue suit helped me access a level of quiet authority I didn’t know I possessed. How different would your important conversations feel if you carried that same unwavering confidence?

Purple- The Color of Power & Infinite Possibility

Purple carries an energy unlike any other. It is the color of royalty, wealth, and boundless expansion, a reminder that there are no limits—only the possibilities we dare to believe in. To wear purple, to surround yourself with it, is to step into your highest potential, to embrace the truth that you are capable of greatness, influence, and abundance beyond what you have imagined.

Centuries ago, purple was a privilege reserved for kings, queens and the elite, not because of status alone, but because the dye itself was rare and costly to produce. It was a color that spoke of exclusivity, power and wisdom—a signal to the world that the person wearing it possessed something extraordinary. Purple holds its vibration of luxury, leadership and spiritual depth.

Stepping into a leadership role? Purple makes you unforgettable. It amplifies presence, authority and an air of commanding respect without needing to ask for it. In a space where bold decisions must be made, purple centers the mind in wisdom and vision, helping you think not just of what is, but of what could be.

In a workspace or even in the branding of a business, purple is an invitation to dream bigger, think deeper and live with intention. It belongs to those who refuse to be ordinary, who seek an impact beyond success.

There is something magnetic about purple. It reminds us that we are meant for more, that our lives are not meant to be lived in small, cautious steps but in bold, limitless strides. It carries the essence of elevation, influence, and transformation, whispering to those who wear it: You are powerful. You are worthy. You are the opportunity.

During my retreat in the Italian countryside, wearing purple helped me access my most visionary ideas. It’s become my go-to colour when I need to think outside the box, dream big and step into new possibilities with confidence.

White and Silver- The Colors of Pure Potential

White and silver represent clarity, openness and limitless possibilities. They are the colors of new beginnings, fresh opportunities and an unshakable belief that anything is possible. If you’ve ever felt stuck in scarcity, white and silver will help you reset your energy and open yourself to abundance in unexpected ways.

Wear white when seeking clarity, vision, or a fresh start. Use silver elements in your home to attract creativity and new financial opportunities. Incorporate white in meditation spaces to enhance focus and purity of intention. White and silver remind us that abundance isn’t just about having—it’s about being open to receive.

These colors are my reset button. When I’m overwhelmed or need clarity, they help me clear the mental clutter and create space for new ideas. When was the last time you gave yourself permission to start fresh?

Red – The Color of Power and Action

Richard Branson’s Virgin Group is built on bold, risk-taking energy and red is the perfect color to represent it. Red attracts attention and drives action, it’s a color that says: “We move fast and we don’t follow the rules.” Virgin Airlines, Virgin Galactic, and Virgin Money all use red to stand out in industries dominated by neutral colors.

Branson himself is known for his fearless business moves and Virgin’s red branding is a direct reflection of that aggressive, take-action philosophy.

Ferrari’s red is iconic. It represents speed, adrenaline and elite performance. Owning a Ferrari isn’t just about having a car but living life in the fast lane, making bold moves and embracing risk for great rewards. Red is the color of action and Ferrari embodies that energy in everything they do.

Red is my catalyst for breakthrough moments. When I needed the courage to retire from my successful business and start following my dream, a red dress gave me the fire I needed. What bold moves are you ready to make?

Think about tomorrow morning. Ask yourself: what energy do you want to wear? What opportunities are you ready to attract? What version of abundance are you ready to step into?

I wrote this for the dreamers, the visionaries, the ones who know they’re meant for more. For those who are ready to stop waiting for abundance and start embodying it.

Here’s the truth I’ve learned through all my travels and the colors of my seasons of self-discovery:
