Just like Gomer in the Bible was an unfaithful wife of Hosea the prophet, I was unfaithful to thy Maker; playing the harlot, a whore, a promiscuous woman. However, Hosea was told to marry her according to the Divine appointment. Even after playing the harlot with many lovers and forsaking my marriage covenant with the Almighty of Israel, I had to return for it is written: ‘“For thy Maker is thine husband; the Almighty Yah of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The Almighty of the whole earth shall he be called. For the Almighty has called me back, like a wife deserted and wounded in spirit, the wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,” says the Almighty’ (Isaiah 54:5-6).
Fathers provide their daughters with a masculine example. They teach their children about respect and boundaries and help put daughters at ease with other men throughout their lives. So if she didn’t grow up with a proper example, she will have less insight and she’ll be more likely to go for a man that will replicate the abandonment of her father.
This is especially true for daughters. Countless studies have shown that fatherlessness has an extremely negative impact on daughters’ self-esteem. Her confidence in her own abilities and value as a human being can be greatly diminished if her father isn’t there. Academically, personally, professionally, physically, socially, and romantically, a woman’s self-esteem is diminished in every setting if she did not form a healthy relationship with her father. Knowing that patience was a virtue and looking for love in all the wrong men, I found myself sacrificing as well as settling, completely lowering my standards. I wanted to be accepted, I wanted to be loved, cared for, and protected. However, I only found myself broken-hearted, exploited, and vulnerable, left uncovered. I am a brave survivor of narcissistic abuse, from childhood under parents, and from partners and other relationships. The purpose of Inner Healing and Counseling is to receive healing from your soul wounds and find freedom from any hindrances in your life that would keep you from walking in the fullness of Almighty’s plan, your relationship with him and others. Hurts never just go away. Recovery is one small step at a time! I help women break free from ungodly soul ties and overcome toxic relationships, providing them with a winning strategy to live an abundant life!
Success is the attainment of wealth, position, honors, and the like; the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors; or the accomplishment of one’s goals. Success is a final product or end result, consequence, issue. Success is a conclusion reached through a process of logical thinking. Why is success so hard to obtain though? Success for me has been nothing more than a struggle!
Failure is not the opposite of success; it is part of success. I struggled with setting goals out of alignment, not managing my time effectively, allowing bad habits to consume me, listening to and letting other people define success for me, and failing to stay persistent long enough to see my goals be manifested. Success for me has been every bad decision, relationship, thought, word, or business deal gone bad! Success and obtaining it has been nothing but frustration for me. Every stronghold, curse, addiction, and broken relationship! Success was a journey for me on how the dark road eventually leads to the light. Considering the change, it looked like there was no hope for me, a person who had made numerous mistakes that could not be forgiven.
Finding success was incarceration for me that had become perverted. Success was nothing but an ugly process and I had to trust the journey. I had to hope for that which is unseen in the heavenly realms. I had to learn to speak those things that are not, as though they already were. I went to college and trained for a particular career, but the door did not open for me. All this preparation, but where was the opportunity? I would say, ‘I have the skills. I have the training. But there doesn’t seem to be a place I can use them. The door is not open for me’. Bosses take losses. The Almighty can remove you from a position. Yet I will rise! Almighty will restore everything I have lost; he’ll have compassion in me. Just like David brought everything back, and so did I!
Success was obtaining wisdom and knowledge, because they are principal things in succeeding. Success for me was hidden. You’ll find this all through the Scriptures, in the lives of Almighty’s hidden servants: Almighty hid Joseph in a prison before he came to the palace; He hid Moses in the desert for a third of his life before he led the people out of Egypt; Almighty hid David in the mountains, running in and out of caves from Saul, before he was recognized as king; In the New Testament, Almighty hid Paul for three years in Arabia after his conversion, before he became a missionary; Almighty hid Elijah at Cheri before his great life contribution at Carmel. Don’t count it a strange thing if the Almighty hides you. Here’s the principle: when the Almighty chooses to hide you for a time, He is preparing you for a greater purpose. Like Jonah in the belly of a fish, I had found myself always hiding. I was tired, depressed, and confused about my destiny.
I was always excited about life but seemed to never succeed at it. It’s no secret that our worst fear is often failure. But what if failure was actually a good thing? Successful people don’t let failures kill their dreams. ‘Failure is success in progress’, Albert Einstein once said. Every person, and every business, needs to fail at some point, for failure is the very seed of growth and success. Failure can act as a seed for two things: a road to despair or a springboard to growth. It is easy to become downtrodden and lose motivation when things don’t go as planned. Instead, use failure as a mechanism to reset your perspective, make a mental change or embark on a new, much-needed direction. Failure is necessary to shake things up. Failure has an effect similar to a calloused heel. It is the protective layer we acquire from going around the block a few times and hitting a few bumps. Left soft and unprotected, we easily become injured. Failure builds a thick skin that can help anyone enter the big leagues without fear. Remaining down to earth and honest is a challenge in today’s business world. When deal after deal is going through seamlessly and business is on a steep incline, it’s easy to get a big head. Those experiencing constant success may even resort to dishonesty if it means not losing what they have. They become slaves to success and before realizing it, they’ll do anything to stay on top, things they would never have imagined. Partnerships and friendships are ruined. Family conflicts abound. It’s all downhill from there, maybe except for the bank account. Failure keeps our ego in check!
It’s the individuals that are humble that will be exalted. Failure prepares us for what lies ahead. Entrepreneurs come across new things they didn’t realize they needed to know almost every day. Failures catalyze much of this knowledge because they are unexpected. How else do we learn what we didn’t know we needed to know? It is never something that can be planned. It is Almighty himself who gives us power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to our fathers, as it is this day. We must first seek his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well. I will assume an upright position to attain a higher level or rank. Walking in my ‘Royal Identity’ as a Daughter of the King!
My inheritance is ‘the kingdom prepared for [me] since the foundation of this world’. Even though our inheritance has been waiting for us since the creation of the world, we must go through Yeshua to receive it. That is a fact! Now concerning the spiritual realm, Yeshua is the mediator between Abba Father and us (meaning man). He stands between the kingdom and us. He mediates between our inheritance and us. We cannot receive the full benefits of our inheritance unless we go through Him. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world!’ (Matthew, 5:34). Remember, when we take Yeshua at His Word, when we trust Him as the one who can cleanse us of our sin (disobedience), when we give Him control and acknowledge Him as Lord of our lives, we meet all the ‘qualifications’ necessary to receive our Kingdom inheritance. ‘He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love!’ (Colossians 1:13).
All nations, including kingdoms, have citizens. All nations require immigration status. The Kingdom of Almighty is no different. Every Kingdom Citizen today is a naturalized citizen. We emigrated from a foreign country, a ‘dominion of darkness’, where we as a race had been ‘exiled’ ever since Adam’s rebellion in the garden of Eden. At that time, the human race lost citizenship in heaven. We lost our citizenship because we lost our kingdom, and we lost our kingdom because we lost our property, our territory. Remember, without territory, there is no kingdom; and without a kingdom, there can be no kingdom citizenship. When Yeshua Ha’MaShiach (Christ) began His public ministry, He announced that the Kingdom of Heaven had arrived: ‘From that time, Yeshua began to preach and say, “Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand”’ (Matthew 4:17). That was the only message He preached. He brought back to earth the kingdom we lost at the Garden of Eden and gave us access to it again. We enter the Kingdom of Heaven through the process that Yeshua called being ‘born again’, exchanging our trust in Yeshua for the forgiveness of our rebellion, and acknowledging Him as Lord (Owner) of our lives. This ‘new birth’ gets us into the Kingdom of Heaven. The new birth makes us naturalized citizens of the kingdom. It also ‘naturalizes’ us in the sense that it returns us to our original ‘natural’ state of authority and dominion over the earth, as Almighty intended from the start. When we become citizens of the Almighty’s Kingdom, it means that we voluntarily align ourselves with a new government and a new country, embracing the language, its ideals and its values. The Almighty’s Constitution of the Kingdom is very explicit regarding our citizenship. Yeshua answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of Almighty”’ (John 3:3). Not only does the new birth make us citizens of Heaven, but our citizenship begins immediately. We are kingdom citizens right now. Our citizenship is a present reality. We are fellow citizens with the Almighty’s people: ‘Our citizenship is in Heaven’. Abba ‘has brought us into the kingdom of the Son’.
The Kingdom is within us and we call (speak) into existence the things that do not exist. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Our words build images and we have the power to speak the Words of Almighty over our lives and see them be manifested. While we live in the midst of a fallen world, keep in mind that transforming into what the Almighty designed us to be is a process. It is our responsibility to read and study His Word on a consistent basis. We consume the Almighty’s Word. It is our nourishment and source of growth. And it is our responsibility to act upon His Word.
‘Paul said, “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of Almighty, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to Christ, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of Yah is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect”’ (Romans 12:1-2)! This has been my journey to success.
This is what my journey of success has been, not what I thought it was supposed to be: you read, study and obey Almighty’s Word, live it every day, even when it is inconvenient. If you truly love Yeshua, you will obey His Word and the Governor – the Holy Spirit – will lead you into all wisdom and truth. He will not leave you alone to deal with the evil in this fallen world. ‘If you love Me, obey My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. Which is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive the Spirit, because it isn’t looking and doesn’t recognize it. But you know, because it lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans I will come to you’ (John 14:15-18). Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in the Word of Almighty. We are seated in Christ in heavenly places, which means exactly that; it is real and it is the Truth. Christ is seated in heavenly places at the right hand of Almighty – and if we are spiritually one with Him, then we too are seated in exactly that place. Rising to the occasion I will take my rightful place. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Almighty shall lift up a standard against him! He has ‘given me authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm us’ (Luke 10:19). As children of Almighty, we are co-heirs and co-laborers with Christ. The Bible says that we are a royal priesthood and that we belong to the Almighty. We must realize that it also says we have the same power that raised Christ from the dead inside of us (Romans 8:11). I am ‘a chosen daughter, a royal priesthood, from a holy nation, Almighty’s special possession, that I may declare the praises of him who called ME out of darkness into his wonderful light’ (Peter 2:9). So I shall Rise! I will Arise in the power of His Spirit. I Believe who I am in Christ and know the importance of my destiny. I will exercise the unique gifts that the Almighty has given me, and I will step into my calling in life at this strategic time in history.
This has been the call of Heaven to the daughters of Almighty ever since Yeshua walked the earth. He confronted and challenged cultural ideals about women: their position, their voice, their importance. Arise and emerge. It is time for me to arise, embrace this calling and assignment, and it is time for me to emerge. This means I will take, every day, little steps towards fulfilling this assignment. Arise for now is my time. The Almighty’s heart is for you to understand your worth, know your identity and authority in Him, and to know the importance of your destiny. The Almighty is calling us to brush back the ashes, open the treasure box, and use the items in the box. We have a great heritage that has been passed down to us. These men have formed the DNA of our ecclesia. These are principles we need to pass down to our children. However, maybe you didn’t have the fathers I had. Maybe your fathers passed down a curse, instead of a blessing. Allow Almighty to free you! I will allow Almighty to heal the wounds from my father so that I may inherit my generational blessings and break all generational curses! Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of Almighty rises upon me. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Almighty rises upon me and his glory appears over me.
Nations will come to your light within and kings to the brightness of your dawn. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Abba Father in heaven. This is why it is said: ‘Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you’. For Almighty so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, and that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (Isaiah 60:1-3, Matthew 5:14-16, Ephesians 5:14, John 3:16). I will rise! I encourage you to begin to pray in accordance with Almighty’s plan for your family, region of influence and nation, so we will begin to see Almighty’s plans manifest. Daughter of the King, now is the time to arise!
You are pivotal in Almighty’s plan to transform your area for His Kingdom. For all the land that you see, I will give to you and your offspring forever. Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. ‘The wealth of the wicked is accumulated for the just. For it is written I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live’ (Deuteronomy 30:19).
Blessings, they are all around us, we just need to become more aware of them. It is so easy to lose focus on what we don’t have and start dwelling on what we lack, but we must stop this sort of thinking as it is detrimental to our success. There are many of us that are entitled to generational blessings that we’re not aware of. However, our ancestors’ commitment to Almighty and his commandments have set the course for these blessings to overtake us. Generational influences have the ability to bring blessings – or curses – to our lives. An understanding of this reality brings the power to change not only your life, but the lives of your family members as well. If you had a great father, honor him today. If you had an absent or abusive father, let Almighty heal the father’s wound, set you in His family, and impart these generational blessings into your life. I will arise!
