Between June and September 2026, INEW, the invitation-only women's network founded in New Delhi by Dr Monica Garg, opened chapters in Paris, Hong Kong, Monaco, Hyderabad, London and Delhi.

INEW, the International Network of Elite Women, is a women's business network for [accomplished women leaders, entrepreneurs](https://richwoman.co/article/reshaping-development-to-empower-women-leaders-and-entrepreneurs-globally), investors, industry experts and change makers, admitted by application and invitation. Monica founded it with Aayushi Agarwal as an extension of her earlier work with the International Council of Luxury and Excellence and L'Excellence Magazine, and it now has chapter leads across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas. The network says it counts more than 7,000 women across 19 chapters, 15 of them outside India, the first women's network of its kind to reach that many chapters.

## INEW Chapter Launches From the Ritz in Paris to The Chancery Rosewood in Mayfair

The 2026 run began on 17 June at the Ritz in Paris. The Sri Lanka chapter followed in Colombo on 14 July, Hong Kong and Monaco opened in the same month, and Hyderabad came in August.

London followed on 20 August, with cocktails and lunch at The Chancery Rosewood in Mayfair from 1.30pm. The guest list was by invitation and kept deliberately small, so that the women at the table could talk to one another over the meal. The invitation carried four words, Leadership, Access, Influence and Impact, and the network's own line, "Connecting women. Elevating impact. Shaping the future." It was INEW's first event in London, and Delhi followed in September.

Aayushi, the network's co-founder, is a Fashion Marketing graduate of Parsons School of Design, a certified luxury image consultant and vice president of the International Federation of Image Consultants. She co-founded the International Council of Luxury and Excellence and L'Excellence Magazine with Monica, and Rekha Gupta, chief minister of Delhi, honoured her for her work on women's empowerment.

## INEW Membership Benefits and Networking Events for Women

> "Relationships become capital, conversations become collaborations, and communities become powerful ecosystems for growth."
> — Dr Monica Garg

The networking events for women in each chapter, the Mayfair lunch among them, are where members first meet, and the programme is arranged so that the introductions made there turn into work together. Members take part in expert-led discussions and knowledge exchange with women from other industries, which INEW calls Collective Intelligence, and are put forward for international recognition, speaking opportunities, media visibility and leadership showcases, which it calls Visible Leadership. The four words on the London invitation are the four pillars of membership.

Monica puts the difference between INEW and other groups down to the calibre of the women in the room and the care taken over who is introduced to whom. Every connection is intentional and curated, and members are introduced to founders, investors and industry experts from the other chapters. INEW's own line for it is "Curated, Not Crowded. Global, Yet Intimate. Strategic, Not Transactional."

## INEW Privé Membership by Application and Invitation

Membership is by application and invitation, and Monica describes the selection as creating the right room, with the right people, at the right level of conversation, because in her experience the room a woman finds herself in changes her confidence, her perspective, her opportunities and her leadership. INEW Privé is a further tier for women who want greater visibility, exclusivity, international positioning and deeper access to the network and the people in it.

## Women in Business Awards and the Influential Women of the World Book

Monica founded the Influential Women of the World Awards, which each year select 50 women from around the world for their achievements and their contribution to society, across business, entrepreneurship, leadership, philanthropy, culture, luxury, innovation and social impact. The ceremony is held in New Delhi in November, with a global awardees edition.

The awards grew out of her 2017 book, Influential Women of the World: Making a Difference, which profiled women entrepreneurs from New York, China, Paris, Africa, Israel and India, and the title has since become a coffee-table series recording the careers of women from different industries, cultures and countries. Monica herself received the Samaj Ratan award from Sheila Dikshit, the former chief minister of Delhi, for [her work on women's empowerment](https://richwoman.co/article/in-conversation-with-dame-neslyn-watson-druee-women-empowering-women). The International Council of Luxury and Excellence and L'Excellence Magazine, which she founded before INEW, form a private forum for women shaping the luxury world across fashion, design, hospitality, art, beauty, craftsmanship and culture.

## INEW Meet and Greet at The Oberoi in New Delhi

On 2 September 2026, thirteen days after the Mayfair lunch at The Chancery Rosewood, INEW held an invitation-only meet and greet at The Oberoi in New Delhi, an afternoon of conversation and networking for women leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and changemakers from different professional backgrounds.

Guests included Monica and Aayushi as founder and co-founder, alongside Sakshi Sharma, a luxury fashion stylist and co-president of INEW Delhi; Sharon Paz, INEW's ambassador; Christine Samandari, owner of L'Opera; Alessandra Lucchesi, an adviser to politicians in Italy; Ambika Anand, the former NDTV anchor; Sheetu Surana, owner of Surana Jewellers; and Tanya Agarwal, editor of L'Excellence.

Monica spoke at the event about the importance of platforms that let women connect beyond professional boundaries and form relationships that lead to opportunities. INEW's view is that networking of this kind can lead to collaboration, mentorship, referrals, partnerships and opportunities abroad. The Delhi date brought INEW back to the city where it started, with La Femme Privee, the quarterly forum for women in Delhi that Monica founded and chaired before INEW grew out of it.

## Monica's Aim for the Women Leadership Network

Monica's mission line for INEW is "to elevate global women, from connection to collaboration, from visibility to influence, and from individual achievement to collective leadership." The network sets out four aims beneath it, Global Business Influence, Community as Capital, Global Collaboration and Redefining Networking Culture, and says it wants to set a new global standard for luxury, impact-driven networking, with introductions leading to relationships founded on trust and mutual growth. As a mentor within the women leadership network she works with members on leadership identity, personal influence, positioning and professional networks.
